I was glad I never started watching this, the book was just to depressing.

Ok I might be killed by the internet for this but I have never understood why this is considered THE WORSE MOVIE EVER! I have never read the books so maybe that is why? Or the fact that when I first watched it I was just coming in to my geekiness so I didn’t know any better and I just liked anything with spaceships?

So many angry MSN chats with friends over a dial up connection had about this movie we where so angry! Still to this day I feel that twinge of loathing just looking at it. Ah the memories....

Might not be the best adaption in the world but at least it has some resemblance to the source material. I had a very similar experience with these book started reading them as a young teen and then did effect and change me in a way that it much harder to feel as an adult. I was also a very angst-y teen so these fit

I actually saw the movie first, never being a big fan of zombies in general (I still have people trying to get me to watch The Walking Dead, to depressing thanks), but I rented it because I always enjoy watching Brad Pitt. I then read the book because I was curious about all the talk about how bad it was when I

Personally I could listen to James Spader read the phone book all day, but that might just be me...

I love this! I will have to remember this and use it in conversations like I just thought it up, to impress people I don't really care about.

This was mine too! My boyfriend loved when I got mine because he told me the next time we move I had to hire someone to move all my books. Know I have over 500 books on something that fits in my pocketbook! The only down side is I have a book store in my living room which is bad for my wallet.

That always makes me so sad then the end up back in our world. Even knowing how it all ends is sad.

Thank you I was thinking the same thing. When he first started the show he was a no name actor, they could have told him he had to stand on his head and recite the ABC's backward once a day and he probably would have for a shot at stardom. Now he is internationally recognized and really is one of the top 3 faces of

That made me laugh and cry at the same time, didn't know that was possible.

Always remember Rule 34...

My local theater shows a lot of HBO shows including GoT. They get around copy right laws by showing it for free, so it is like inviting friends over to watch your HBO, they just have a really big living room. I have a friend who worked there who said they made a killing on concessions, when people don't have to plop

Actually most of the actors are English, with the exception of Cate Blanchett who is Australian , and Robb (Richard Madden) who is Scottish. I think that for most American movie goers the RP English accent is short hand for "Hay look! This is fantasy! Look everyone talks like they do in the that country that has real

I was so disappointed when I heard this! I was looking forward to Ingrid having to worry which would be a worse father, a murderous monster with no moral compass or the Mandragora?

This concept always bothered me. I could maybe understand maybe making sexual touch taboo but all physical contact? Spend one day just seeing if you can not touch another person at all, if you live in any kind of city that would be next to impossible unless there are vast improvements in public transport. What about

I defiantly hate-watch Big Bang Theory. I can go several episodes laughing at the jokes and starting to think maybe this isn't so bad. Then someone, usually Penny, make some comment that women never play D&D or like geeky stuff. As a geeky women this always offends me, I have flipped off the TV a few times and left

I love how they have promoted this! I remember I was working at a video store when the first movie came out. I had to explain to my manager the plot of the movie because we had to decorate for the midnight release of the DVD (oddly she really didn't like going to the movies, lol). She then said "So it is about a bunch

I am way more in to this show when my kid is right now. But he will be 6 when this comes out so by then he will be old enough to enjoy it more, I hope.

You know I always wanted Buckyballs, very badly. A friend of mine would bring some to game nights and ever one kept laughing at me because I couldn't put them down. I could never really afford them myself, and my friend asked if I wanted some for my birthday that year. I told him no because of all the things about
