The point here isn’t to bash FFRK but to point out the stamina mechanic that’s becoming more and more popular. Just because FFRK doesn’t abuse it doesn’t mean others won’t.

I mean, you can add qualifiers all you want but the company in question HAS done exactly the thing being discussed.

It was bad when I quit, there have been two new characters and sever more holidays since then and the odds of getting anything you want decline with every item they add to the mix.

Lootboxes are going away because of the very real threat of legal retaliation since it’s gambling aimed at children. Legislation is slow to pass but the process has already started so it’s best for companies to start distancing themselves from the practice before they start getting fined or worse.

Unfortunately the game publishers see buying used as piracy because they don’t get a cut so that puts a layer of moral ambiguity to the emulator thing. While I don’t personally use them I can’t fault anyone else for doing it instead of giving their money to GameStop, a company I despise with the whole of my being.
I do wish The Sarah Connor Chronicles had a little more time, it was far better than anything past T2.
