It was a forgone conclusion that the game was failing once it went pay to win and started attacking their biggest fans with DMCAs when they rightly points out the very thing that would make players abandon a game en masse.

The controls are fairly simple which is part of the draw and there are a wide variety of characters so it’s about finding one that fits your play style and learning how to work within a team and learning the maps.

You do know that Jrpgs are the reason Playstation/2 dominated the Xbox/360 right? The only reason Xbox has survived was because they had Halo and Playstation lacked a solid fps.
Radio Shack changed it’s business model to diversify into cell and smart phones and it wound up being the final nail in the coffin of a company that no longer knew what it did anymore.
I’m just saying it’s not praiseworthy. Of course their players wanted it, they were told it was already a feature of the game before launch! This is not a revelation.
