I don’t know what to make of this mess other than there has been some real Game of Thrones shit building up behind the scenes at Red Bull Racing ever since Mateschitz’s death in October 2022.  Now it seems like Marko took his one good eye off the ball and it’s come back to bite him.

It’s like they say, you can’t go racing without a Helmut...

I thought Delta Integrale mixed with a Lada Niva.  In a good way

It’s the Delta Integrale replacement we all wanted.

This was my immediate thought.

I knew I couldn’t be the only one that thought Lancia when I saw it. That R3X pushes all the right buttons, now I want to see the price tag before I legitimately get excited.

I’m liking that profile

Reminder that Horner left his wife who was 6mo pregnant for Geri Halliwell, very publicly beginning their relationship before the divorce was completed. He’s innately a bad person.

Somebody put it brilliantly in another comment on a previous article:

Dude - you can’t really have a totally consensual relationship with your boss. There will always be a power dynamic issue and that’s why you don’t do that stuff at work.

This is insanely fucked up. We penalize women for not immediately coming forward, then when they do - with apparently a LOT of credibility and

If she’s an employee at RBR, he has power over her employment, so it is inappropriate regardless of whether it’s consensual or not.

Made that same drive last spring.  Not only was I completely locked in out of concern for my own driving, I was worried some jackass like Mr. Clackamas up there wouldn’t make one of the switchbacks.

Them Tikity Tok’s ain’t gonna watch themselves!!!!

Like Ok I can get being distracted on say a highway, still really DUMB but I can kind of get it, it’s a normally boring mundane drive, but why the fuck are you distracted on what look like the twisties.

The State of Tennessee has 9 congressional Representatives - 8 of whom are Republicans - and 2 US Senators, both of whom are Republicans. So yes, they do have the power to help control this issue. Their constituents are paying the price for their decisions, literally.

Seriously, TN politics sees this billing issue as a feature, not a bug. And while declining Part B carries risk, the cost of that risk sure does seem disproportional to the cost, and also wildly unpredictable and surprising. And maybe to this woman $175/month was real money. Of course most of us know the real answer

I routinely charter Honda Jets and fly coast to coast for $50k.  This charge from the ambulatory company I would classify as predatory.

This is like reading about someone forgoing fire insurance to save a few bucks and them expecting sympathy when their house burns down. The lady gambled and now her estate is probably shredded paying off the bill, so that’s the way the cookie crumbles.

Me, reading first part of article: Wow, this is really messed up.

I’m permanently amazed at how little money means to some people, or how much they have. Whether it’s someone willing to pay $500 for a cotton t-shirt, or $75k on a weeklong all-in cruise. It blows my mind.
