And ‘gas stations’ and ‘gasoline production’. They are working to be as vertically integrated as Ford was 100 years ago when they owned the rubber plantations, coal and iron mines, and even railways.

The future of Lordstown:
Obligatory;
GM is not (super) stupid. The UAW was in place, and Lordstown uses the outdated rail system for moving cars.
I seem to recall that Tesla was not interested in Lordstown because it came with the unsupportable baggage of the UAW.
Yes, that’s why Tesla’s ‘cars produced per worker’ statistics don’t look as good as when GM/Toyota ran it.
And they also don’t just assemble parts shipped from elsewhere, they make many parts (like seats) in-house.
I remember when I first saw these when I was deployed in Germany. I was in ADA. We called them the ‘Whispering Death’. You learning to look for them because they could really sneak up on you. Those M60s were noisy as hell compared to the M1.
That’s very ‘90s of you. :)
sus·pi·cious
Why are you even responding to this troll?
...
lol, besides the people no longer in office - drinking Bud Ice at a Bennigan’s. It’s like they consciously tried to make the story as 90s as possible.
Obligatory
Looks like the Lawrence PD is following the US’s lead.
Too bad about the bux. We got in 3 years ago. Our system is about 2.5X bigger than allowed under the current regime (5KWH vs 2KWH). The monthly payment for our panels is close to what our bill was before we had electric cars, so that’s a wash, and they will be paid off in 9 years. The plan is that once the Disco…
Petroleum products include transportation fuels; fuel oils for heating and electricity generation; asphalt and road oil; and feedstocks for making the chemicals, plastics, and synthetic materials that are in nearly everything we use. In 2017, of the approximately 7.3 billion barrels of total U.S. petroleum consumption
Art,
We got in on the first Tier as well. We also put in a Yuge system for the size of our house, so our bill is only ~90 cents a month. We have to pay $10 a month to hook up, so we are generating ~$9.10 a month in excess electricity at the rate we are selling for.
Which is it? Is my car insurance rate suspicious, or very low? There is a huge difference. Considering the tone of your previous post, you called me a liar. I think you are going to be ‘suspicious’ of everything else I have to say, which is going to be very frustrating for me.
