Tell me, why should I bother to respond to someone who calls me a liar? Anything I say you will say is ‘suspicious’.

That’s what I did. With my solar panels my electric bill is ~$.90 a month to run my car and my house. Yes, that’s 90 cents a month. And, after ~8000 miles and 8 months, my total cost to run my Model 3 including electricity for a 1000 mile road trip, maintenance (tyre rotation), AND insurance has been less than $500.
I refuse to fly any more. I have a hip replacement and the last time I flew I was forced to be fondled 4 times by Security Theater. I have been informed that their procedures are even more humiliating than back then. I think if someone dies, and I have to fly I’ll self-identify as female so at least I get fondled by a…
That works out to about 13 bux an hour. Less than minimum wage in these parts. Was it worth it? Did you learn anything of value?
The reason they started offering healthcare was primarily because of FDRs wage/price controls and they had to use something other than wages to attract workers.
That front-mounted charger point is terrible. Any accident is going to mess the charge point up, and possibly cause a fire. The charge point on the Ford Focus Electric/Volt is better. Better yet is where Tesla puts them.
She;
AFAIK, the new Tesla Roadster will have single-speed transmissions, admittedly different ratios front and rear. The advantages of a constant-mesh gearbox are huge and many. The advantages of putting in multiple gear ratios are small and few. When you have 100% torque from 0-7000 RPM it’s hard to make a case for…
He could still be married, just not to a woman.
You too?
Gears are only neat if your torque source is not consistent. The torque curve for an electric motor starts at 100% and only starts to taper off when the car is going about 50% of top speed. So, for the Model 3, ~100% torque from 0-70 MPH. Pointless unless you want to increase the top speed beyond 145 MPH.
I did not. I’ll see if Samwise is available online.
Ive been riding without incident for almost 40 years, ATGATT. Yet my CBR600RR (one if the very first in the USA with ABS)has been sitting for 2 of them. Daytime running lights on cars mean that bikes are now super invisible. The number of code browns caused by people making lefts in front of me took all the joy out…
You a Kurt Vonnegut fan?
If we don’t control immigration how would you even define an ‘American’, much less provide a next egg? An how big should that free nest egg be? 5B works out ~ 1/1000 of the Federal Budget for 1 year. ~$17 each, hardly a nest egg.
They probably practice by using a late-model Camero as a daily driver.
So now we need to take our eyes off the road and look at the infotainment system to see cars right in front of us if we want to drive one of these ‘manly’ trucks.
I don’t know about that. It seems to me that PU could drive right over my Aston Martin Vulcan without the driver seeing or feeling what happened.
My Model 3 can bounce the radar against the road underneath the car ahead to see the car in front of him. That car appears in the display.
The attitude of GM ‘designers’ somehow remind me of the Germans in this scene from ‘The Right Stuff’;
