Thank you for this! I started at the beginning, and was completely entranced for the entire 40 minutes. I just loved the interplay between everyone, and I was totally laughing out loud. And yes, watching will.i.am and Miriam interact was priceless—they were utterly charming together! :)

VERY farfetched. And the show SUCKS. I hate-watched the whole thing. I agree with others here re Adam (Lena's character's love interest) being the best thing about the show—but that's not saying much. On the other hand, I'm middle-aged and curmudgeonly, and expect TV dramas to have interesting, realistic, and

You're right—I totally forgot about Year of Living Dangerously (which I loved). And the first movie I saw with him was Gallipoli—and my girlfriends and I were all swooning for him. It IS terrible that he turned into such a monster.

Yeah, what is it about Australia? Aside from Jackman and the Hemsworths, you've also got Guy Pearce, Russell Crowe, Heath Ledger (RIP), Geoffrey Rush, Simon Baker, Hugo Weaving, Eric Bana...and they're all GOOD actors to boot. And so many wonderful actresses as well!

I TOTALLY hear you, Westies! I hate-watch the show, and I cannot believe the self-centeredness of all the characters, as well as their utter shallowness. To me, the show is not funny, it's not "ironic," it's not hip—there is nothing redeeming about her work at all. (I'm a David Simon super-fan, and I absolutely adore

Because The Fatz is not "fashionable" and they don't want their clothes hanging on the "common people." I think they're thinking along these lines: "Well, if EVERYONE wears my clothes, they'll no longer be chic and exclusive." There's all sorts of classism, sizeism, misogyny, etc. embedded in this attitude.

I don't think I've ever heard or seen Carolla in action (lucky me), although I have heard plenty of criticism of his "work."

I adore you, snugbug. :)

Plans for my career are up in the air; I'm unemployed and broke. I know that I want to work in some sort of creative field, and I definitely need my luxury goods, but, alas, I'm no Lena Dunham.

I could totally see/hear him doing this! :)

OT question: Is it weird that I (straight woman) find Eddie wildly attractive when he's in drag...? Then again, maybe I just completely adore Eddie full stop, so it doesn't really matter what he's wearing.

Oh, Lena, you are just SO hip and clever. /Not.

I agree with you. I've always found Jim Carrey unwatchable and disgusting, and so I'm not surprised by this comment of his. Stone was simply being polite and professional. (I can't imagine how I would've reacted had I been in her shoes—it would've been hard not to barf.)

I see what you're saying and we're definitely on the same page. And PETA—ugh. What a horrible organization. They care only about PR. I totally hear you on that one, too!

He mos def seems like a really special dog. Health, happiness, and longevity to you both! :)

I'm with you here. Having pets is a serious commitment, and if one moves, one either takes the pets along OR finds an EXCELLENT home for them where they will be loved. Props to your friends re their cats—they're good people!

I agree with you to a point; I definitely love people who love animals and have pets. (I myself have four rescue cats, whom I ridiculously adore.) However, I respect those people who choose not to have pets because they know their own limitations as far as pets are concerned—maybe they don't have an affinity for

I love his adorable white muzzle!! Beautiful dog!

Honey Nut Cheerios and Omar. That is all.
