I love information like this—thank you so much! (And I’ve bookmarked that link to help me with my French studies.)

An acquaintance living in Paris (and where I’m relocating to next week) said this about the film:

That totally jumped out at me, too. I liked the story, but I thought it was weird that “ new Tesla” had to be mentioned. Line works just as well without it:

I’ve been reading this thread for hours and enjoying it so much! Here are my favorite stories (as a New Yorker, I have quite a few because celebs are everywhere).

I find it kind of funny that she—sophomoric, terrible writer that she is—takes a dig at Adam Gopnick. Lena Dunham and Jia Tolentino will never be that in that class of writer.

May I present Miuccia (aka Miu-Miu)? She was rescued in Brooklyn by my friend who saw this wee little black thing (about 6 weeks old) under a car with no mama in sight. My friend gave her to me, and I've been in love ever since. (Also have two other wonderful kitties, whom I love just as much.)

(I just watched some Baryshnikov videos posted by lurkerbynature, and was reminded that nothing touches Baryshnikov. Nothing.)

Pure perfection and beauty. And the best illustration of ballon. Thank you, lurkerbynature—these vids brightened my night. (My current fave is Cornejo, and I just posted a video of him.)

He's entertaining and talented, to be sure.

The (poor) New Yorker's top porn choice is the Sunday New York Times' real estate magazine. Seriously.

I will be forever jealous of you, RealWorldCamel. And like you, I LOVE Dom's pepperoni—that's the only pie I ever get there. My best friend lives near there, too—a few minutes by car. So we order the pizza, go back to her place, and then drive back to pick it up (it's always an hour's wait in our experience), and then

Peeps!!! Watch the British sitcom "Spaced," starring Simon Pegg and Jessica Stevenson! It's hilarious and totally enjoyable. But what shocked me about this series is that one of the leads (played by Jessica Stevenson) is what some people would call chubby, and HER WEIGHT IS NEVER MENTIONED. AT ALL. In fact, she's

Here's a blog post about DiFara pizza: http://slice.seriouseats.com/archives/2004/…

It's really a New York Experience to go there. But you have to plan it, and there's work involved. But that pizza...! (I sometimes dream about it.)

Have fun in NYC! :)

His pizza tips were totally spot on. I approve of his choices. Note: DiFara Pizza in Brooklyn is a positively orgasmic experience, but it's a pain in the ass to go there, to order, and there's nowhere to really sit. But that pizza is worth it.

Lombardis in Manhattan is SOOOO good, too. And there you can eat in comfort.

You are very wise and cool.

This has been my situation, too. It just is what it is. I'm not going to blame ALL THE MENZ for this. Shit happens—or it doesn't.

*fistbump*

It's a Japanese thing: cleanliness and organization are just part of their culture. Yeah, I'm generalizing here, but when I lived in Tokyo for three years, that's what I saw in spades. Little old lady neighbors go out and sweep their neighborhood's sidewalks and streets; the red velvet subway car seats are pristine

I love you for loving Boosh. That is all. TMB is the funniest show I have ever seen.

Sigh. I want a clone of your husband. Lucky you!

You are wonderful.

My cats were meh about regular Greenies, but they LURVE Greenies SmartBites (all the flavors). If I quietly pick up the bag, all three kitty-piggies are immediately swirling about my feet, begging shamelessly. My friend says she gets the same reaction with her cats. Definitely cat crack.
