1958 Packard Hawk

@gdm426: The Professional Car Society is *the* car club for owners/restorers of vintage hearses, ambulances, limos, etc. It has been around for ever and has a pretty large membership.

@WJNiles: The numbers on the rear aren't painted over and match the placement & font of the '63 photos

@AceJokes: Probably the same "MEDICAL DEPARTMENT" lettering that was also added to the tailgate.

Next question, is the Kennedy Hearse on ebay real or another fake?

@jomac006: And like Abe Vigoda the PT cruiser has managed to have a face that looks dated and ugly almost since it was young.

-'62 Comet. modify the dual exhaust to stop it droning in the car so I can ride in it without my head vibrating. Then get & install new brake hardlines so it stops consistently. That way I can actually *use* the damn thing, instead of it sitting in the driveway except for the rare trip around the block.

@cadrina: Go buy it. Being an adult means you can buy toys for yourself. My g/f has a huge collection of crayons & coloring books, and my Legos fill a 1/4 of my bedroom.

These videos are funny, but I also can't help but feel sympathetic as I nearly did something similar several years ago.

Don't forget the two additional Imperials that where destroyed at the hands of the MythBusters for their "Green Hornet Myths" Special. At least one of which was a nice running-driving example with a good interior and typical CA lack of rust.

@STIKleinWagon: Late-60's Ford build quality? Yeah, not so straight. If the wheels stayed on long enough to get it on the transporter it was good enough.

Probably 10 years ago now my parents got me a AAA Gold membership(the one with the 100mile tow). It was a purely selfish gift as they were tired of coming out to rescue me after my car broke down *again*.

I can't help noticing the mustang loses it's windshield armor/slats between the actio0n and in-car shots. Also the in-car shots are blatantly of a car parked in a warehouse(I'm not even sure the steering wheel is unlocked in the Ram). And the exterior shots look like unused/recut footage from the original movie.

@Littleblueneon: "Ricers" in CHEVY Corvettes and DODGE Vipers?

@sr20spitfirehotrod: a "proper facility" is only an option if a) your budget allows for cars sold at dealers or reputable used car lots and b) you are trying to buy a car sold at that sort of place.

@sr20spitfirehotrod: I don't think they are saying to threaten to walk away. I think they are saying *actually* walk away if the car isn't what you wanted/expected it to be.

@Drew and not U: I'm not, it means we're only visiting and get to leave again. If it was what we were leaving behind we'd have to go back to living there after the weekend.
