I actually discovered RLM after stumbling upon the Plinkett Episode 1 review years back. I’ll spare you my gushing, but suffice to say that and the reviews of the other two prequels are some of the most devastating (and hilarious!) deconstructions in the history of film critiques. I gave you my star because I think this list is shit too, but the ones you hated are the ones I liked (not “The Visit” tho) and the ones you omitted are the ones I hated. :)
I would add Afflicted to this list. One of the best horror films I saw last year and actually did some novel things with the found footage style.
I’m not easily scared by things, but it was still unsettling.
Considering that today’s schools are no longer for education but indoctrination on how one is expected to function in the American Police State, I’d say this kid’s parents got every penny’s worth out of the tax dollars.
