What a terrible inconvenience, to have to waste precious seconds of your life securely logging into a device so that you can waste precious hours of your life providing vast swaths of personal information so that they can monetize you as a commodity.

Given the fairly mainstream knowledge of cosplay I really think it’s time that we made a distinction between cosplay and semi-professional models who are being outfitted with professionally made, studio quality replica costumes. 

Well, in this case it’s made by a professional studio with a considerable budget and a lot of professional-grade fabrication equipment and materials. They work hand-in-hand with/fot companies like Blizzard so they probably had several weeks or months of advanced design specs.

I suggest you get back at them by not buying one.

I used to do custom roms but this is the only phone I own and I need it to keep in touch with my kids and for work. If anything went wrong I’d be screwed. I can’t risk messing around with potentially unreliable third-party stuff.

I’m in the same situation. I’m using a Galaxy Note 3 and it will never go past 5.0 or get security updates of any kind. It was originally on AT&T but has been unlocked for use on my current network. Because of that the update process fails, so even if there was an update for it I would not be able to get it.

It only looks “somewhat good” in very specific circumstances. If the subject is well lit, facing the camera directly, clearly standing well apart from a distant background, and the background isn’t too busy (ie not a lot of high contrast and sharply defined rectilinear structures).
