I’m in my mid 40s and find that phone technology has ceased to be something worthy of major events and excited speculation. They are ubiquitous devices that see only very minor incremental change year over year.

It’s a niche that bloggers/YouTubers and the phone industry (and tech industry in general) have carved out for themselves. They create drama and mystery and work together to perpetuate it. The industry gets constant publicity and the bloggers get a paycheck. That’s really all there is to it.

This is entirely an issue created by tech bloggers, YouTubers and the phone industry. Nobody else cares aside from the small percentage of insecure people who define themselves by the brands they buy.

Do you also soil your diapers when CG animators wreck simulated recreations of actual buildings in movies?

They are taking away adapters but you can now get an app that lets you pretend to be plugging one in.

Phone launch “events” are boring. The artificial excitement over incremental changes and minor improvements is ridiculous.

For video is seems very unimpressive. The seam in the middle seems incredibly distracting. With with the letterboxing it seems you aren’t getting much more (if any) real-estate then simply watching in portrait mode.

How about they just name it Streaming Home Internet-based Entertainment for Lovers of Disney?

I’m holding out for the $15/mo plan that lets you see one second-run movie per month (Tuesday matinee only, offer only valid with XL soda and popcorn purchase) at any participating theater chain, available in several states nationwide. It can’t fail.

What makes no sense is that Disney fired James Gunn for making inappropriate jokes many, many years ago. His jokes were tasteless and dumb but he didn’t actually do anything legally actionable. So that tells me that Disney is claiming to have a very strict zero-tolerance policy for what they’ll endorse under their

It’s time for a gritty shared-universe reboot of the economy.

Professor David Nutt’s assertion was based on his professional opinions as opposed factual data gleaned from a well-designed study. Kudos to Nutt for his prescient opinion but his conclusion was not based on sound scientific reasoning and methodology.

Doomsday has always struck me as being one of the prime examples of early 90s comic’s uninspired “more-is-more” character design ethos.

Sapient, not sentient.

And his costume looks 100% less shitty than Thanos in Infinity War.

To this day every costume in a DC show or movie looks like something made by an amateur cosplayer on a $30 budget and a 48 hour deadline. Every single one, ever, looks absolutely ridiculous.

He’s just another greedy cunt who goes where the power is. He’s just as much a piece of infectious human waste as Trump is, and everyone else in Trump’s administration and family.
