Yep. Plus, the majority of games that are popular to stream are multiplayer, non linear narrative games anyway. Streaming only helps those.

Would really love it if they could work with some TTS companies to make a very realistic, emotive TTS app. Being a mute, I talk online with iSpeech on my iPad, and while it’s pretty good, it can’t do things like contractions. So I come off sounding like a female Data.

I’d love to see every single multi-platform game in the next generation of consoles go cross play. It’d force Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo to compete with their hardware and first party exclusives instead of what we have now. 

Then show their account manager this story. On camera. Make them say no in public to prove the lie, or get documented approval. 

Except that it would be very bad PR for them to publicly say go ahead, have a major studio do just that, then punish them for it. 

If Hi Rez can flip a switch and make it happen while Sony says it’s ok to do, I’d call the bluff. Flip the switch and see what Sony does with gaming journalists watching. 

I know I don’t. Gaming is too big a part of my free time; any game I ever preordered was a special edition or something I was looking forward to. 

For the same reason whenever one of my Aunts bitches about me being a Lesbian, I ask how nice her familys’ menstral hut was. Or how long her (preacher) father’s hair and beard was, she gets pissed. They say if you question any part of the bible then the whole thing can be questioned, and it fries their brains to point…

I just don’t see how this is a big deal. I used to preorder everything, back when I bought physical disks, and I never knew anybody that would pay off a game and then completely forget about it for a month after the game released.
