I haved loved so many of her movies. I’m a huge fan. I loved her in a overlooked romcom with Burt Reynolds titled Best Friends.

Death Becomes Her will always be a favorite of mine, if only because everyone is basically playing against type.
I think Death Becomes Her is an amazing, cutting satire with something great in it every minute and would never call it clunky.
I love every second Death Becomes Her.
The best of the Goldie-Chevy movies was Foul Play. Fun, reverent Hitchcock spoof (with a very irreverent plot, if you get my drift).
He picked high maintenance over open book, a very common male mistake. And he will rue the day.
the general consensus (at least here on jez) is that vanessa, although insanely gorgeous, is nuts. people seem to think she’s lost it after a big breakup in the past, which explains her family’s over-the-top protectiveness.
AND the fear in nick’s eyes last night
HAHA! YES! As evidenced by the genuine fear in the eyes of all her family members at the prospect of her dating someone again.
I’m still standing by my earlier assessment that Vanessa is insane.
Exactly! I even found Nick’s race-related comments to Rachel pretty damn cringey (things like, “I may not be black, but I’m still a minority!”), even if they weren’t exactly offensive. I can’t imagine the crap Rachel is going to end up dealing with for an entire season.
Yeah like that guy who said something about once he goes black he won’t go back to Rachel?! WTF dude. Eliminate that guy immediately.
Wow, this is going to date me but I remember going to Wet Seal and Contempo Casuals in the mall. Those were the days...
I'd be fine with it if we were eating Indian food or, like, fixing a computer or something. You know - when there's a reason to be Indian. But not while we're doing regular stuff.
So you don't find it demeaning if someone paints a cartoon character brown and says they're 'Indian' without any other characterisation?
There's not reason for him to be white, either.
"No reason." I see his point. If they'd worked at a 7-11 or been software engineers, then there would have been a reason. But they were just normal people. So they should have just been played by normal people.
"Some of these other shows — My Brother and Me, Diego, and Legend of Korra — it's great that they're bringing diversity into it now. ... But you know those shows are not nearly as good as Ren and Stimpy, which was made by all white people!"
"That show is awkward because there's actually no reason for that character to be Indian."
Sanjay and Craig is a really good example, which funnily enough is written in part by Will McRobb and Chris Viscardi from Pete & Pete. That show is awkward because there's actually no reason for that character to be Indian.
