Saying the network is the best (subjective claim at best) is antithetical. If you have the best network why do you need an adapter for an “inferior” network.

This adapter (and the CHAdeMo) crack me up. For years, and to this day, tesla stans say the supercharger network is the best and nothing can compete.
Volkswagen has done a lot of bad shit, and they continue to make stupid choices in the US, but at least they didn’t try to feed some bullshit about the e-Golf being more environmentally friendly than a bespoke car with a bigger battery.
Shiiiiiiit.
I’ll make you a deal: you pay for a Uhaul trailer for the day and I’ll bring both lol.
Perhaps their messaging with the AWD is changing. But do you really think comparing cars that are (after tax credits) are almost$18,000 in price is an accurate comparison?
The Y starts at around $53,000. The ID4 AWD starts at $43,000. The ID4 can get the full $7500 tax credit.
Hmmmm. Trying to decide if I want to go. I’m afraid there just be too many teslas.
“That’s a smidge slower than what VW thinks is its competition with the 5.2 second time of the Ford Mustang Mach-E Select AWD and the 4.8 second time of the Tesla Model Y Long Range.”
While I haven’t been active on Oppo in the recent past, it was always an outlet for me, and I’ve met many lifelong friends through posting that I otherwise never would have had. Shutting down Oppo and the other user blogs is a massive mistake. I hope a fatal one for G/O, honestly. Oppo and the other user blogs were an…
That’s just absolutely not true. Don’t believe everything you read on forums and such about modifying cars in California.
Generally we would assume you’ve buried your head in the sand. But it’s clear your head is actually buried up Elon’s ass.
I hope you never peek behind the curtain and see what dealers do with trade-ins and cars they buy for wholesale to flip.
I can almost guarantee the ID4 will go 300 miles on a charge without any issue. VWAG has been severely underrating the range on their EVs.
For anyone doing actual research, not listening to their one cousin who used to own a VW back in 2000, Hyundai/Kia are much more dubious when it comes to reliability. They continue to have catastrophic engine failure to this day.
Two very important things to keep in mind:
Fellow EV owner here. I’m curious what your real world range has been, and what the DCFC charging is.
You’re right, you should buy a GM. I heard they’re excellent, at being worse.
If you plan on buying the car at the end of the lease, and the lease special isn’t something insane (it really never is unless it’s an EV, AND you don’t plan on keeping it), you should just finance the car. Leasing is not without finance costs.
Judging by your stock comment, it clearly stops you because, well, you’re not an idiot.
