The drive through lines at Chick fil A are absolutely insane. Not because of Chick Fil A, but because their customers are god damn idiots. Also the local one was poorly designed. But the customers at the local one love to block traffic and the driveway. I’m so glad they’re closed on Sundays.

I would never go through a drive through in my ICE cars before because I knew I was wasting fuel. But now as long as the line is short I’ll go through in my EV since I’m not wasting any fuel.

Question for you Tom: How do you format an email to dealers when you’re shopping for a friend or family? I want to try to get my uncle on an Atlas before they lower the warranty. Thanks.

I haven’t driven the C7 or C8 (obviously).

I didn’t expect this reaction, I could have gone on a lot longer.

Demonstrate what a door should sound like when you close it.

I read about one person who not only had their legs on the bomb, but they weren’t wearing their seatbelt. They broke so many things I can’t remember: hip, pelvis, collar bone, and some other things. I don’t remember exactly what happened to her hip/pelvis, but I know she fucked it so bad it had to be replaced.

I had a customer from Florida come in (California smog shop) and the belt was pre-buckled.

Technically the 2.0T VW uses is an Audi AG motor. BUT the MQB is a VW platform. So I guess it’s still a VW.

I would hope so. Canada is supposed to be civilized after all. But I have my doubts since you were able to buy a Forte without AC.

It’s not a crime to bring Targa into a car without AC? And a Forte no less.

It’s really important to note VWoA did this not because consumers didn’t care about the coverage, but that the dealers were bitching because they were losing money in F&I by not being able to sell people bullshit extended warranty contracts. They also bitched about the loss of income in service since warranty work

In California it’s almost always cited under a fix it ticket, that’s why it’s $25. Officers have the option to actually cite you and to issue you a fine, which can be hundreds of dollars. Why law enforcement doesn’t do this more often, I have no idea. Fix it tickets are supposed to be for things genuinely broken, not

All they needed to complete the typical blog headline would be to put the source last: report.

Yes, buying another car to do Uber or Lyft is a much better idea.

That’s exactly how it is in California. If someone parks somewhere on your property, and you’re not a business (ie: a house), you don’t need to say shit. You just call a tow, and they take care of the rest.

That’s for a business. If it is on your house I’m going to assume it’s the same here and you don’t need to do anything.

Nope, the tow company collects all the fees from the vehicle owner.

Interesting because every steering wheel I’ve cleaned with a safe APC has gone from shiny to matte without sanding or even with a towel.
