Nope. Yelchin was killed because he didn’t engage the parking brake like he was supposed to. 

The ID3 will most likely have the same logic as the e-Golf: When you open the driver’s door with the car still “in gear” the parking brake will engage. Even if the car is moving.

It’s astonishing how much you can customize on a VW. I just coded in “pace car” turn signals in my MKVIIs, and all it took was selecting the right options. No actual coding, just selecting things.

The noise is fine for me. The part that can get annoying for me is when I get out quickly after backing up it takes a second to retract before I can get into the hatch. 

I’ll enjoy it much longer than that, and I won’t miserable because it’s a nice damn car.

Not really. The camera stays covered in all instances except when you actually need it, so it always stays crystal clear. It’s absolutely amazing and I love it. 

At this point Takata has recalled so many inflators I don’t know what the defect is anymore.

I know, but when the original designer of the parts has said some of their parts are defective I think we should act in an abundance of caution and replace the damn things. 

The manufacturer of the part has declared a defect. Every other customer who used their part has issued a recall, why should GM not have to recall the vehicles too?

So GM got off for killing it’s customers with a faulty ignition switch and have decided to bet the house.

Dealers kind of shoot themselves in the foot with the second one. I would have returned to the dealership that I got my TDI from had the same salesman been there. But since he was gone and I knew that dealership was shit I didn’t even contact them about the e-Golfs.
