I'm of the opinion that the L and I are separated enough to not be read as a U. They are green, with a yellow border and even darker shadow. Also that the letters are in a serif makes it difficult to see a U in it.

I get that it isnt designed for vertical use but blaming it on its slot loading drive is a weak excuse. The PS3 and Wii have done it since 2006 vertically and with a slot loading drive with no problems. AFAIK even the PS4 will support vertical placement and has a slot loading drive.

Yeah that sucks. When I think about it most bigger games get released Wednesday through Friday. I remember the Wind Waker release, preordered on Amazon, came back from school around noon and the game was already sitting and waiting there for me :)
