Leveling up characters is not my issue. My issue is the resource hog that is the weapon leveling system. It just takes too damned long and if you end up trying to go for the best weapons (ie. make them elemental) then you have to have even more made to take advantage of the elemental component. With 8 weapon classes…

100%, X-2 is my favorite FF battle system out of them all. Was so much fun leveling up 3x Berzerker with auto-haste and just watching the game play itself.

I will shout this until the day I die but this game has the best use of the ATB and job system to date in any FF title.
