Ah you assumed they made a whole series? No, it’ll take you even less time to watch than Kingsglave ;) but I’d like them to make a whole series actually. It’s just a bonus they made and put it on the internet for free. Kingsglave on the other hand is a movie you have to pay extra for (and the things that happened there definitely should have been addressed better in the game). If you don’t want to watch you don’t have to.

Funny thing is, after the Duscae demo surveys showed Promto as least liked character. So they tried extra hard when finding backstories especially for him.

Go watch the Brotherhood anime. It shows how they met each other, something sadly missing from the game. You can watch it for free on YouTube. It helped me especially to better bond with Promto as his origin story is far from happy. And why Ignis is into cooking. And why Gladio couldn’t stand Noctis at first.

Cosplay is more the act of wearing a costume and acting the character (hence costume play = cosplay). In the west most also create their costumes by themselves. I mostly dislike panty shots. Other than that I think my tolerance level is pretty high. I think it has to benefit the plot. Like Kill la Kill’s parody on skimpy outfits. Food War’s is over the top for comedic effect as well. Also I like the Free boys cause everything still looks aestic to me.

It’s an interesting idea. I’m not spending real money for digital trading card games, but this way it’s kinda digital and real. That could make me spend money on cards.

I’m at the beginning of Chapter 3 and clocking in at around 12-13h. I’m using a guide for sidequesting because there are many you only trigger when in a certain area. So yeah, I’m taking my time and so far it’s fun.
