Just wondering, have you watched Kyoukai Senjou no Horizon? It's got a ridiculous setting, but it's very entertaining and has a superb soundtrack. Supposedly, it was impossible to adept into anime.

The show would have been so much better if they had focused the whole 25 episodes on the first arc. Episode 3, for example, would have much more of an impact if they used 3-4 episodes for it.

Yup. There are a lot of underrated OSTs out there, especially anime ones. Horizon on the Middle of Nowhere for example, has a superb OST. Every song on it is just beautiful.
