Hugo's House of Horrors

First Sale is First Sale.

First Sale is First Sale.

Unfortunately, they are thinking like M$oft.

And that problem - rushing to the end, not enjoying it, making leveling artificially easy - is indeed the problem with most modern mmos.

Endgame gear used to be about pride and accomplishment, it was a bonus - the real joy of the game was the journey, not the destination.

People have lost sight of that, and I guess

I am an 8 year vet of FFXI.

first launched to disastrous reception in 2010*

Encrypted, overpriced, proprietary hard drives?

A console with a failure rate over 35% during normal operation?

Buying out companies and threatening them?

Chasing indies out of the market?

Only catering to dudebro shooters?

And that is why I am probably going to consider the actual series dead.

Which is bad, but still not as bad as the stuff M$oft pulls all the time.

Compared to using the mp3s I already have, it's a fortune.

Okay, I'm pissed.

I played the entire Devil May Cry series and perfected it with the DS3.

No hand cramps or accidental stick flicks.

What's your excuse?

Problem is, they took the Gamecube compatibility out in the WiiU, and the Wii compatibility is sketchy.

People need to stop ragging on left stick placement.

Not every freaking game is a shooter.

The controller layout is one of the primary reasons I refuse to buy a Microsoft console, and it's the same reason I have a Logitech controller with a sane stick layout for PC games that use controllers.

I'm saying that Mass Effect is as much of an RPG as a dog turd is a brownie.

It's a shooter with RPG elements, decent voice acting, and a conversation system that tricks you into thinking you have an influence on anything, when, in fact, you really don't.

Because we don't want a freaking Action-RPG.

Nice to Hope, but Hope should have been thrown off a bridge.

She was terrible to everyone else, especially Snow.

Mass Effect was an Action-RPG. Most games that are released as RPG in the West now are actually Action-RPGs, or Shooters with RPG-like progression systems.

Pure RPGs can mostly only be found overseas now, and that's the point of my post - they would just pervert it into another one of their standard repertoire.

Here's what it would be:

CHOICEZ! THE GAME!
