I havent enjoyed the new Batgirl at all, despite being quite excited when I first heard the idea. Ive enjoyed Snyders Batman (got me back into it after a break of many years) but the whole batfamily stuff seems kind of smushed together and it really doesnt work in the context of the wider DCU.

Why not? Id be happy if he were simply a more ethical slut. The idea that he seems totally into one woman per movie and then she has been discarded (or maybe he has?) by the next one seems quite sad to me. Likewise the sort of creepy rapeyness of the shower scene in Skyfall seems way too far.

James Bond never really worries overly at drawing attention. Like in Skyfall he is stood on deck amongst all those henchmen and seems suprised when they capture him? I dont think theres any planet where people would say "Omfg! Black guy in a tux?! SPY!!"

I think you are right and Im mostly very pessimistic. But there was a point in Smallville where it could have turned into something like a workable Titans show.

That is actually a fantastic way to explain the crazy names in the He-man universe! At age 5 everyone chooses their own name and so you end up with...well names that sound like 5 year olds made them up.

While training for a series of fights I had a lack of sparring partners so I got my flatmates to put on boxing gloves while I stood with my back to the wall and practiced slipping and covering for 2minute rounds. But they werent quite fit enough and ended up being sore all the time so they quit.

I agree with everything you said except I didnt really like Captain Boomerang (is he a pilot or does he hold a military rank or...?) I think I would have been less generous if not for War and SoB but I still enjoyed watching it and felt satisfied when it was over.

Any low points in particular that really bugged you? Theres stuff that didnt work for me but was outweighed by what I enjoyed. I think SoB is one of the worst films Ive ever seen in general.
