I don’t cheer about Sony having exclusives.  If it was up to me all their games would come to PC and I wouldn’t own a console at all (other than Nintendo stuff). The exclusives they have are the reason I buy a Playstation though. If Microsoft got exclusives I cared about that were Xbox only and didn’t come to PC I

I think what you’re more likely to see is the game selling for full price on Playstation (with Microsoft taking their cut, of course) and showing up for free on Xbox/PC for GamePass subscribers.

Yeah, you’re right. I think TES is pretty safe, considering it’s such a huge franchise. Microsoft are also (probably) not stupid and will have seen the crazy lifecycle that Skyrim has had by releasing on every gadget with a screen and some form of input capability over the last decade (also Alexa, which I guess

Minecraft was already on Sony systems when Microsoft acquired Mojang. This is a different situation.

And you know what OS runs on that PC? Windows made by, surprise, Microsoft. Either way they’re getting your money.

Microsoft is playing nice. The thing is, sony buys companies and makes exclusives and folks cheer, but if Microsoft makes TES6 and other games pc and xbox exclusives, sony fanboys cry?!

As a PS owner, I do not want to even consider the possibility of the next Elder Scrolls game being XBox exclusive. That would seriously suck.

That’s always been the case with Microsoft, and now that they offer Game Pass for PC, Microsoft is 100% okay with that.  They don’t care where you play as long as you keep paying for their subscription services.

Psst.

Seeing as they have Minecraft on everything from an Xbox to a toaster, I wouldn’t bee too worried...

Seems less like a reason to buy an Xbox and more of a reason to buy a good gaming PC.

My memory of the PS2 is that it didn’t have any actually worthwhile games to play for YEARS after launch.

That’s one of the reasons I’m getting the 5 destiny 2’s load times are ridiculous and if I’m gonna keep getting conned into playing the game I want it to not take 5 years to load. There’s also cyberpunk which based on the Witcher 3 will probably have long ass loading screens too on current gen systems.

The last systems that I remember having a ‘Nailed it’ launch or major titles that came within the launch window were the Dreamcast, the SNES, the GameBoy and the PS2, even though as noted the PS2 had some outright trash that some poor suckers were stuck with.

I remembering getting the PS4 specifically to play DCUO. I had it for PS3, but the load times when traveling between worlds were insane. Then it would take another little while for the cities and what not to load into view. Depending on where you were, you could load in and be killed before your screen even registered

While actors in their 20s often play teens, the images I see online of Iqra Aziz are of a gorgeous woman who would not at all look convincing as a 15-year-old.

So now all they need is a Tony, which raises the question: how are Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross going to win a Tony?

Quake, the Musical

I responsibly saved up enough money over the last year to buy BOTH consoles and honestly... its nice to be worried about dumb consoles for a change instead of EVERYTHING else in 2020.

Legit question to the people preordering to get it at launch: Why? Other than Demon Souls it seems no launch game worth mentioning wont be on PS4 and the hassle seems to much to be worth it.
