This fox is an in-game pic?? I thought it was some sort of 1/6th fox action figure! Lighting looks realistic as hell! Look at that fucking grass!

That’s why Football in the Groin is such a timeless classic.

I stalled around episode 6. I didn’t tune into a show called Warrior Nun to watch a girl spend all her time not being a warrior nun.

I thought the exact same thing, but instead of Virginia just <insert random southern state>.

You know, if it meant said douche couldn’t connect to the internet ever again, I’d be ok with allowing that.

If we could only be so lucky that said douche disconnects from the internet forever...

Days Gone was another, and between that Horizon Zero Dawn and Spiderman I think they relied far too much on old formulas in a “new” package.

I don’t really see Sony’s studios converging on style. The last 3 games I played (and they made?) were God of War, Spiderman, and TLOU2 and I really don’t think they’re the same genres at all. Tsushima does sound like Spiderman’s approach, which is the general open world approach, but GoW was a hub based action game

What a stupid take. As others have said, there were plenty of positive things in this review, balanced with weak points because it’s clearly not a perfect game. You shouldn’t base your decision on just one review anyway, since games are a subjective artform, but the reviewers I follow and trust (including outlets like

This review said a lot of positive things about the game...

I watched my first gameplay video of this game while playing AC Odyssey and I immediately had the same thought: this is a modern AC game with Samurai. Which I am very excited for - but that ALSO got me thinking about how Sony’s 1P studios are starting to undergo the same “convergence to a single formula” that Ubisoft

Right, that’s what I said. Is it impossible to believe that this guy’s Twitch channel could receive sponsorships from different companies because of this gaming feat? Is it out of reason to think that From Software could contact him directly to congratulate him, or maybe even to consult briefly on their next game, or

Or, I dunno, you could be moderately impressed as a first impression to this news, instead of immediately skeptical towards what could potentially be a career-defining achievement in video games? You just come off as a sore, bitter, loser.

Just because you’ve been lied to doesn’t mean that everything is a lie.

To borrow a phrase from Deadspin’s commentors: Always Highlight Truthers.

“I know I’ve beaten this drum a couple of times before on previous hard runs in the past”

The real David Bowie wouldn’t be this much of a dick, just sayin.

I understand the skepticism. If you’ve watched his streams over the last few years and seen everything that led up to this though, you’d know it’s 100% legit. There’s real, legitimate emotion you just can’t fake going on every time a great run gets killed by some small mistake and the cathartic release when it finally

I guess he got gud.
