I was never much of an indie gamer, but I love playing indie games on my Switch. I’ve always had at least two of the three “major” consoles, but was usually too focused on the AAA games.

I would absolutely have tried to keep this shit secret. She wasn’t only on Game of Thrones, but also in a fucking Star Wars movie. I would never, ever want to try and recover from a brain injury while a bunch of people bothered me about it, asking about it every 10 minutes and probably getting even more creepy…

“Dead Souls?” They made a game about the morally and ethically bankrupt social system in 19th century Russia featuring a scam artist trying to buy up the rights to dead serfs? Sounds rad; where can I get it?

I’ve haven’t looked forward to a game the way I’m looking forward to this one in a long ass time. Probably since I beat Dead Souls and saw the first clips of Dark Souls. I love From Software’s approach and this looks like a well crafted experience. 

Yeah. I mean they dropped Dorne like a bag of trash even though losing their leader would give them more of a reason to fight with Dany and/or lead to a struggle to crown a new leader of Dorne.  But NOPE!!!! Dorne is just out of the game for no real reason.

If you’ve ever actually ridden London escalators for the Tube, you’ll realize that the left walking lane is often open even when huge volumes of people are waiting for the escalator. Because most people choose to wait & stand. That’s why the capacity goes up.

An octave is a pretty massive shift for the human voice. 

A couple of feminist friends took me to task for saying Holmes faked her voice. They said higher octaves don’t help women in the workplace, which I don’t argue with, and she only “lowered her voice an octave,” which in their minds wasn’t fake. I say she lowered it way TOO much, and that’s what makes it fake.

Red Vines suck, they taste weird and plasticy. But RV vs Twiz is a regional thing. My CA husband is RV all the way and I grew up in PA.
