what if, and hear me out, they’re not “natural” kids? there must be a twist to this. 

i like how this game is less identifiably medieval european and has its own unique grand fantasy vibe to it. yeah there are some gothic touches here and there but a lot of this feels much more original than the previous games. 

shyamalan definitely has a formula, for better or (more often than not these days) for worse.

this is true of only the consumer electronics industry. not the arts. 

there actually is a 4K cinema standard that isn’t QFHD— it’s DCI 4K, 4096 x 2160 pixels. similar to DCI 2K — 2048 × 1080.

i’m not sure he’s a terrible director but he’s a bad writer. and it was clear that this script was not the special thing it had been pumped up to be. it seemed like some script he’d had sitting on a shelf for twenty years (because it had been).

terrible script, terrible cinematography, with some good performances and a great death by tiger. 

i’m not sure netflix’s unwillingness to discuss the marketing is a sign of their self-awareness regarding a fuck-up. it could be that they think that it’s completely beneath them to engage with moronic hot take culture. 

did you take into consideration that netflix’s real target here were the predictably inflamed twitter users and bloggers, who wasted no time turning a silly stunt into real news? 

i’d love to see a return to the pre-vegas game style.

i mean, it’s not really a problem, when you reflect upon the fact that each 22 episode season probably features as many good episodes as a shorter season would. it’s just padded out with fluff episodes. while yeah, ultimately it makes it a bigger chore to sit through (and admittedly i stopped watching like three

need for speed porsche unleashed is still the best one. they should’ve stopped then and there. 

yep, literally incredible—”impossible to believe”, “not credible”. but still fun. amazing how entertainment works.

oddly enough, the shooting in the latest tomb raider games, rise and shadow especially, is really good. not thematically essential, for sure, but actually quite slickly done. shadow also has absolutely incredible climbing sequences. 

alien isolation came out a year after rome 2. their warhammer games are definitely full games, too

there’s always someone on here just summarizing what we already know.
