You mean to tell me that Syfy is prematurely ending a show without allowing it to have a proper resolution?

Shocked I tell you! SHOCKED!!

In all seriousness, I’ve given up on anything coming from Syfy. They’ve become as bad as Fox ever was on their cancellations.  I hate it for the fans of this show, because I’ve been

Looking forward to the new sequels. Looks like they’ve hired writers who won’t have to mention things like midichlorians.

The show was scheduled to have 10 episodes, but the pandemic cut the first season down to six; they’ll arrive on HBO Max in April.

Of the listed candidates, my vote would be Armor. I enjoyed her in Astonishing X-Men, and I feel like its important to try to continue building up new heroes for oh so many reasons.

Of the entirety of mutanity? I would pick Dust. I found her character interesting during the run of post M-Day New X-Men, and like with

it could be all beat to hell, looking like roast beef

Welp, I tried it this weekend. I’m not sure if the flavor was affected, but it did hold onto the moisture much better (to the point of having it stick to the pan if I wasn’t careful) and was a more appealing brown color.

You’re not far off.  My partner enjoyed the movie, but I absolutely hated how it undid everything I found clever and unique about the first one.

Another article from lifehacker / Claire Lower about that very issue. Aside from the culinary reasons that isn’t the best idea, it’s murder on your pipes.

And if this was just a cheeky way to rib Claire for this very article, then well played :p

I think you hit the nail on the head, especially that the only real issue might be editing.

I was thinking it was the same for me... it was the last movie I could remember seeing, but I think Brahms: The Boy II was my last one, and it isn’t much better.

And same on having completely lost interest in going back.

The easy bet is that one gets powers and that causes tension between them. Maybe the other gets powers later, but by that time, the drama’s already there.

I’ll just say this... the Captain America movies weren’t happy shiny movies, and the situations that Steve Rogers faced weren’t very happy either... but the character never gave up his moral compass, his optimism and hope that fighting for a better world that matters, and suddenly the “lame boyscout” from the comics

Don’t forget “centuries old vengeance demon falls in love with young human male” either with Anya and Xander. That one seems to always get left out of the discussion.

I’m not going to defend the “ick” factor of “super old [supernatural entity] falls for young human [person]”.

I will merely point out that this is a super

One of the more specific claims I’ve seen involves one of the POC actor’s skin tones being digitally altered in post, and that this was one of the racist things that was going on.

Which, color alteration is super common and pretty standard in print and film. I work in print, and if I didn’t digitally alter the skin

There was a message board, website, and community that I discovered whenever the ep aired where Tara was shot called The Essence of Amber (dedicated to Amber Benson, but the Buffy/Tara section was the most active at the time for obvious reasons). I remained active on that forum for a few years even after Buffy had

I’ve rewatched Buffy a handful of times throughout the years, and really the main things that strike me as being a bit “off” in current day stuff is going to be Xander’s weird friend-zoned obsession with Buffy (and his near incel-ish revulsion of Buffy having an intimate relationship with Angel), a lot of the Spike

Come ooooooon “Peggy & Steve”!!

Or Hercules: The Legendary Journeys season 2 episode 8, “The Other Side”.

There’s basis in a multitude of interpretations throughout history that regard Persephone and Hades’ relationship as consensual, and generally Hades is probably the most faithful husband of all of the Greek gods, so it isn’t really an original

Not to mention “toxic behavior” and “unprofessional” conduct are SO. FUCKING. VAGUE.

The more he goes on, the more it seems like someone who is just upset his career making role in the big budget flick was reduced when the new guy came in to tidy things up. Maybe he voiced that to the people running the production,

“Wolves were attracted to our garbage piles? Nonsense, humans don’t just leave food lying around or throw it away! And no way humans would willingly domesticate wolves because they are competition!

“Wolves were domesticated because we had too much food, and probably kept wolf puppies!”

Uh, what?

This seems to try to
