This is easily some of the best casting I've ever seen for a comic adaptation. The man looks exactly like the character on the page, and is one of the greatest actors of his generation. The DD series should be worth it just for his performance alone.

Alan Moore's PROMETHEA.

Argh! That Jubilee looks awesome! I would have loved to have seen that!

Having now watched DoFP, I find myself largely agreeing with your review. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed the movie!

I... well, okay.

You don't know that.

It should've been Damion Poitier.

I work in a big, old comic shop, and I've seen some scandalous shit. I've had a ton of brilliant female coworkers, and I've had guys lean past the women to ask me questions, even as the women stood there, giving them answers.

I hope I wasn't overly harsh there - Charlie, I love your writing, and your reviews! Even when I don't totally agree with you! ;)

I'm interested in this movie, though my expectations are somewhat foreshadowed by the creators' previous projects... "From the director of Superman Returns, and the writer of... Jumper..."

I'm gonna have to disagree with you Rob.

A strong support-staff is part of how a TV show works, so I can forgive them aspect of things.

This is better than all of the movies put-together. This is all I've ever wanted to see when somebody suggested a live-action Spider-Man.

Excellent. Very well acted, shot, and written. Three thumbs up.

I don't watch Walking Dead, but I do read the comics, and I keep feeling like Negan is supposed to be Henry Rollins. I guess Rollins is a bit long in the tooth for such a role now, but I can still imagine it being pretty cool.

Depends on your timeline, but mostly executed or imprisoned.

Regarding Quicksilver:

(Not meant to be critical. It was a great movie, and it'd be an interesting show in the right hands. That FARGO show looks amazing.)

So, basically, we're done turning 80's TV shows into movies, and we're now ready to turn 90's movies into TV shows?

For Sale: Hover Boots.

Never used.
