Man... I have this idea in my head... You could've totally had Hawkeye in his classic comic costume in Avengers... When Loki brainwashed him, he could've changed his uniform "to meet Asgardian standards," so it'd have been like a little in-joke. And then he'd go back to purple-leather or whatever for the end.
