It was a procedure to keep little boys from touching themselves. The sin of masturbation and such. If for no other reason, I don't like it because cutting a persons genitals should be their own choice. You can't get much more personal and intimate than that, lets let babies be.

It's not a problem with an easy solution, thats for sure, because the system that we use to grade kids basically contradicts what a good teacher should be doing in the classroom.

honestly, the grade system is really really bad for students in general, the only reason we still use it is because it makes life easier for the schools and work places that want a easy way of keeping track of how students have done.

That's only arithmetic. Modern 8th graders should be in algebra.
