That all sounds good, but why? All those things are available on their respective services, you’re duplicating content to put in some journal timeline. Do you go back and periodically review your journal? I cannot understand doing that.

Liked the vac when I bought it a couple years ago. It now overheats if it runs too long and I’ve taken it completely apart and cleaned the motor and everything and replaced all the filters, and it still does that. Didn’t do bare floors very well. Have since replaced it. /personal experience YMMV.

I like IFTTT but have yet to have them do anything remotely complex or beyond a novelty. I’ve been through many of the recipes on IFTTT and even subscribe to a message board on another site and can’t seem to find a whole lot to benefit me, in fact many are simply moving data from one service to another or duplicating

Since I have a google/gmail account, I just use them for all my contacts, notes, email, calendar, photos, etc that way when I use a web browser or another PC, all my stuff is still there. Just use icloud for backup and secondary spot for pics.

The issue with that though is interpretation. Some of the “fact checking” I saw was more like “yeah, but” and many of the statements both candidates made depend on nuance or a particular time/issue they were referring to. Yes they both lied, one more than the other but you’ll never get agreement on some types of

I sometimes roast my own beans for the freshest tasting coffee and use a burr grinder as well. It really does make a difference (w coffee black) over older, preground coffee or even a blade grinder. Course so does the method of brewing of course too. We vary between Technivorm and Aeropress depending on quantity.

Here’s hoping Grocery IQ gets update with Siri as that would really handy to dictate lists vs typing to scanning bar codes.

Congrats, you traded one cropped photo trying to bias the message (though from other pics it looks just as crowded) and replaced it with your own cropped photo trying to show empty seats.

So long iPad 2. You were a great one, though have been collecting dust these past couple years.

You’re correct on right now the 6 being the sweet spot.

My 2004 Toyota doesn’t have aux or BT, only input from the rear dvd player to the back of the stock radio. So I connected a BT to 3.5 adapter to a 3.5 to VGA cable which then connects to the L&R audio from the rear DVD player.

I saw that same article and shook my head. I know people have financial tight spots but not being able to afford an emergency 1k expense? I couldn’t live like that, I’d drop soda, coffee, go to beans and rice, etc until I was able to have a bit of stability.

Gizmodo of old is truly dead. It is now overrun by Gawker types. Where are the articles about Gadgets and Gizmo’s? Long gone I’m afraid.

Good article and sticks to LH’s theme unlike many of your sister blogs. I really hope you all survive in some form after next week. You are the only Gawker related blog I can stand.

The benefit of a helpful financial adviser can go beyond simple returns though. Are you diversified enough or do you have too much risk in a certain kind of stock. Are your retirement goals on track or should you invest more or what are the projections with the projected SS amounts included. What kind of tax brackets
