I don’t think there’s a common reason, this is just an option if you wanted to. Evernote still is my go to, long term, note taking app. I can’t see it being replaced anytime soon.

We just addressed this with my wifes potential new job. Take a 20% increase and later hours or fewer hours and less pay. We chose the fewer hours. Less stress, more family time. The extra money would have been nice but we’d rather see her than the empty chair at dinner.

I don’t even have 100% the same political leanings as my spouse, there’s no way you’ll get a small group together where everyone will agree. Best bet is to not discuss politics at all and good advice given: steer conversation towards positive things and what’s going right. Count your blessings. That’s what the day is

I was interested in the article but then you had some contradictory advice when describing the solutions:

Once you give yourself license to eat anything “in moderation,” it easily turns into license to eat anything, and call it moderation.

I bought some last year as well. The lines are not near as defined as the image shows and unless you freeze water slowly from one direction (like they do for ice block carvings), then it will be a normal ball of white ice.

According to “Mr Wonderful” on Shark Tank, Costco is the number one seller of wines in the US. Avg price is $9. /tv show source

Nationality is at the top of their list but is rarely mentioned in articles like this. Working in a global economy for global corporations, I see hints of this all the time.

I actually just got cable. First time in about 15 years. The only reason I did it is because there is no legal way for me to get my local NCAAF and NBA team games without access to Fox Sports.

I especially like the comments on recipes that usually go like this:

Somehow I have through the years gathered the 15GB free + 15GB Camera Roll + 10 GB Loyalty Bonus = 40GB. I didn’t see loyalty change listed but can’t imagine it’s immune. 40->5? Thanks MS.

Do you get up for a drink or bathroom break while watching tv when the commercials are on or do you righteously wait and watch all of them first?

I started as early as I could which happened to be when I graduated college and could afford a small contribution to the 401k at the time. It was tough though as being so young and in debt, 100-200/mo goes a long way. Now much older and getting within 20 years of retirement and putting away 20%+ each pay period make

No. There’s safety, then there is ridiculous. I deal with concrete all the time.

Lack of safety glasses, with Quickcrete? The gloves are overkill as it is.

These almost never look good. They are easy to spot as being a form and don’t hold up well unless you put in a lot of prep and after work, in which case, you might as well do it the right way.

Guy on motorcycle was an idiot and driving illegally and dangerously.

I’ve found the older I get and the more me and my spouse makes, the more I add to expenses for things I needed but couldn’t afford earlier. Life insurance, quality of life expenses, investments, healthcare, etc. I wonder at what point I’d stop adding expenses, but I’m not sure there is one. You get wealthy enough and

We haven’t gotten raises in a few years. I’ve ignored all of them.

They will still be everyone’s problem if they can’t take care of themselves. All the support they get from the gov will be paid for by us.
