Plus, with many people that retire, they become sedentary and inactive. They quickly decline in health and quality of life.

But frankly I don’t need my own money that I paid into it? I realize that’s not proper thinking around these parts but I plan on retiring at 62 currently and I’ll take my money thank you very much.

This is where I believe most of these listed services are pricing themselves too high for only the convenience of visual copy paste. 40-50 just for syncing between devices? Plus that’s if they don’t charge for the next major upgrade. Seems like a great opportunity for Open Source to shine.

Thanks for the reply. I use iOS and Windows. Unless I’m mistaken the iOS version doesn’t help much unless you visually copy and paste into your Windows PC. I couldn’t see where that allowed your iOS (Pro) version to sync with the Windows PC version. That’s no better than most free password managers. That’s the initial

1Password looks nice and I want to use it but I still can’t justify the price on a Windows machine for every update. Plus it seems most data breeches are on the businesses themselves, not individual hacked accounts. Complex password generators aren’t going to help that situation. I’ll just stick with my simple

Yep, one of the many that dropped LogMeIn after that situation. Thankfully I haven’t needed remote login stuff much anymore and so just rely on Chrome Remote Desktop or some other free service.

I bought some when they were on sale a few years ago but mounted them on my walls a couple feet off the floor (for cleaning). The wall tracks allow you to slide them side to side if needed. My workbench has wheels though so I can move it where needed or clean under/behind.

Oh how many times do I drive down suburban roads to see garage doors lifted and piled high with boxes of (presumably) junk. While their expensive car sits outside in the blaring heat or snow.

There it is! I was worried this wasn’t actually an iOS article till I saw the Android comment.

Back when I jailbroke there were apps that sped up the animations that happen when you do anything. It was quite evident they could change those timings and it would feel like a new phone.

There are countless phones out there

If Fox Sports would go the way of ESPN for some sub $20/mo amount, I’d cancel cable in a heartbeat. It allows me to watch my local NCAAF team and my NBA team, but sadly only available by a cable provider. It’s really all that’s keeping cable alive in most homes.

Although I’m not really interested in much of what was announced today, it was a good list of upgrades and introductions. I like the direction most all of the products are going and glad thinness is not the primary focus anymore.

You can also cut corrugated roof tin in a similar fashion with a piece of wire. Handy if you are remote and don’t have tin snips.

Yeah, that. I can’t think of anyone who is the target for such a device except in some self-made fantasy.

Phssha, all you newbs with your sound blaster cards. We had to edit the .ini file to turn the piezoelectric speaker on to do more than simply beep.

Have it and love it. I used to use the Kenu Airframe but switched to this and enjoy it more.

While true, it’s only good if you either like “sports” or the teams being shown. If you want to watch your local teams (for me it’s a local university football and NBA team) then you have to have Fox Sports.

You wont be watching much football on local broadcast stations except a few on Sunday afternoon. That’s where I am now, wanting to watch my local college and NBA teams but it’s only available on cable/sat.
