Well they are trying to show that ‘Trickle Down’ economics really works. By giving $200 million of the $1-2 billion they will save in taxes to their employees. But only just this one time, cause raising salaries would hurt their profits.

In defense of the city councils, Uber didn’t find a way to have cheaper, faster taxis. Uber doesn’t make money with its business and operates at a lose. It is chearper and faster because Uber is subsidizing rides in an effort to gain more users and drivers. At some point they will have to increase their rates or cut

That is the name of the article. Which could have been chosen to draw readers in, just a little hyperbole to grab your attention. But the letter doesn’t actually mention what she is doing other than the vague “adult entertainment industry”.

Someone who believes that porn is morally wrong and wants to ban it.

But don’t worry. I don’t think you are a moron just because of your inability to imagine experiences outside of your own.

So, you bought the right bags. You bring them everywhere. Presumably you clean them. And since you own bags, you don’t take free bags. Sounds like you followed all the given advice and your only complaint is the article doesn’t specify that you should buy enough bags to carry everything.

Title of this article is a bit misleading, maybe. LiSF doesn’t actual say his wife is acting in porn. He just says “entered the adult entertainment industry”. That is exceptionally vague. Is she an actress? Stripper? Bartender at a strip club? Running the cash register at a sex shop? The adult entertainment industry

Actually he doesn’t say that. In fact the letter doesn’t even mention that his wife is a porn actress or even that it is porn. It just says “entered the adult entertainment industry”. Sure the implied meaning is she is an actress in porn. But she could easily just be doing solo photo shots or became a stripper.

Also since the Net Neutrality rules were revoked and Comcast owns Universal/NBC which owns a 40% stack in Hulu.

First, the NYT article does not mention that scientists are unable to identify the materials. That info is only mentioned in the NBC interview which would make it forth-hand. A scientist tells a military director, tells a CIA manager, tells a senator, tells the reporter.

Second, not being able to identify an alloy

I think I agree with Matt Damon on this. Before we can continue to punish the men in Hollywood that are sexually harassing and assaulting people, we need to take time to identify and recognize the ones that aren’t.

After that I think we should recognize the men in Hollywood that aren’t murdering people. Then we can do

Pay check goes up, for servers, due to minimum wage. Overall Pay probably goes down for servers but up for everyone else who affect your dining experience. Bartenders, cooks, dish washers.

Well, because of the proposed changes to the rules for tipping, if you are a service worker that receives tips your employer can force you to hand over that money and not give it back. That would be one decrease in your pay.

For those who have 401K options as part of their benefits package, the changes to the rules

Based on the title and before reading the article, my impression was that he either assaulted a woman that filed a lawsuit against him. Or during court proceedings he assaulted a woman. So I agree, the title isn’t very clear.

It beats yelling at a voice assistant across the room to turn off the lights.

Or ‘accidently’ destroy all the lines for those companies.

I was racially and sexistly slurred

Allowing the company that decides the pay of un-tipped and tipped employees to decide how much they should get from tips, is a bad idea.

The salaries of the un-tipped employees is based on the fact they don’t get tips. The salaries of the tipped employees is based on the fact they do get tips.

Make a rule that allows

Of course they don’t change the fact the employee was asleep. You can’t change facts, that is how facts work.

The question is the root cause. And whether it is a failing of the employee or a business process. Waffle House is a 24 hour business, meaning there should be processes in place to ensure employees don’t fall

I did the same for the same reason.

Well the article does say he cleaned up, though doesn’t say how much.

But in his photos he isn’t wearing a hairnet, so that would be a violation of Health and Safety regulations. So that could count as vandalism maybe. Spreading dirt and contamination in a food prep area.
