At least one of the clips has one of the kids running across traffic. I’m gonna shake my head at that, as well as dunking on privately-owned property. That’s too much of a chance to end very badly.

They know, that’s the point. They weren’t/aren’t going to discontinue the costume and the philosophy behind it, as evidenced by the fact that it, and more, continues to exist despite Capcom also having the goal of greater mainstream exposure for the game.
Capcom is happy to conform; their clear stance is “have our cake and eat it, too,” which is exemplified by this thing and the female characters in general, but also by the R. Mika super controversy from a ways back where they “censored” it by just nudging the self-butt slap out of camera view. Meanwhile, still goes on…
Shouldn’t be a surprise to anyone, but anyone who is irked should be calmed by this fact: Capcom explicitly made SF5 with a plan for more mainstream esports coverage, knew how the costumes would be perceived, and went ahead with creating them anyway (Nevermind the character of Laura who arguably doesn’t have a…
Yea, I think they inadvertently shot themselves in the foot in this aspect, by making their designs so different and contrasting. I’d support the idea that they don’t reveal which side each character in the Splatfests supports until the end result.
Looking forward to the beta! My ony concern is that some characters seem a bit too much like Melee, potentially to its own detriment. But, I’m sure it’ll be fine.
An excellent “official” send-off!
When’s Tech Romancer?
Yea I saw it last night, definitely int he vein of what I’m thinking! I’m in favor of it.
Excellent point about Junkrat feeding the supports’ ults, hadn’t considered that.
I am still not convinced dive meta is neccessarilly a problem that needs intervention.
A lot of D&D players tend to make the mistake of substituting alignment for personality in their characters.
Though I haven’t played WoW in a couple of years, I love Death Knights, so I’ll be getting back into HS with the next icey-undeath-flavored expansion.
I am a HUGE fan of MCU-Tony/Pepper’s // Downey/Paltrow’s chemistry since Iron Man 1, so I almost jumped out of my seat at her unexpected appearance.
I demand more Talon group fanart.
Most everyone can be safely called “good” except the following:
I have one thing to say:
Looks like it. Even has the Octoling symbol on the screen.
I’m a veteran fighting game player and have no issue with learning Tekken, but I was expecting some sort of decent tutorial given a) the length of time between the game’s arcade version and console release and the efforts of games like Guilty Gear meaning competition should’ve stepped up, and b) Tekken’s well-known…
You may be on to something. Doom is central to the foundation of MH’s story plot, having several voiced cutscenes and serving as a multi-phase boss fight (which originally served as the story’s capping fight until later expansions brought in Asgard/Loki, Ultron, and a Skrull invasion).
