Agreed. I’m not too hot on them talking about investigations or matters like Lyles’ shooting (which is inevitably going to come up in the chat even if they decided not to address this specific incident through Twitch), but if they’re going to try, they need to be on-point with handling it.

Re-using assets is not the issue. For one, the Vs. series re-using assets has been a thing since the beginning, and I don’t buy that they suddenly are obligated to re-do everything from scratch each game due to dropping sprites for 3D models.
It doesn’t help that all of those grey background pictures they released as official are god-awful on the technical aspect. Bad lighting, poor posing, awful choice on background. Even the better-looking models in the game look like shit.
