“Starts at a theater near you” is a bit of a giveaway, but you can probably be forgiven for not reading the small print! :)

Nice list! And I thank you from the bottom of my heart for putting “of the Last Decade” in the headline.

Drives me nuts when I see listicles of “The Best [FILL IN THE BLANK] of All Time!” that fail to cite anything made before 1980 or later.

It’s perhaps worth noting that movie sequels have been with us since at least DON Q, SON OF ZORRO back in 1925. And even back in the Golden Age of Hollywood, you had umpteen sequels involving Tarzan, The Thin Man, The Mummy, Blondie, Ma and Pa Kettle, Francis the Talking Mule, and, later, The Pink Panther, James Bond,

We actually didn’t stick around to see the movie. I lobbied for doing so, but was overruled.

To this day, I have never seen MEGAFORCE.

Dare I admit that I bought a ticket to MEGAFORCE just to see the first U.S. trailer JEDI?

This was long before you could watch trailers on the interwebs, kids. We had to take the car down to the Valley Drive-In to see the trailer. :)

I wonder if we’ll be getting the Rene Montoya version of The Question back as well?

I wouldn’t mind that.

For what it’s worth, I wrote those books almost twenty years ago. It was my first attempt at a trilogy and, in hindsight, I’m fully aware that it’s a bit padded here and there.

Still probably my best-selling books, though. :)

He certainly steals every scene he’s in on VOYAGER, although Seven of Nine gives him a run for his money..

And then there’s this immortal exchange:

Basically, Silverman is playing the Catherine Hicks part from STAR TREK IV: the friendly female scientist who assists the fish-out-of-water time-travelers from the future.

It’s a fun two-parter, really, and she’s very appealing in the part.

“Future’s End”: a two-part story in which Voyager goes back in time to modern-day Earth and runs into a friendly astronomer, Rain Robinson, who is played by Silverman.

Gotta respectfully disagree there. “Bride of Chaotica” is great fun.

But she was great as Rain Robinson. I honestly wish she had joined the cast as a regular.

If nothing else, Rain had more chemistry with Tom Paris than B’Elanna ever did. :)

Look for episodes focusing on Seven of Nine and/or the EMH. Avoid episodes about Chakotay.

If it’s an episode about Seven/Chakotay, take evasive action!

On the other hand, VOYAGER gets bonus points for putting Sarah Silverman in a two-parter. :)

“There’s coffee in that nebula” is genius.

And I’m absolutely with Janeway there!

Thanks!

Plugging away on a LIBRARIANS novel this afternoon, btw.

Well, if it helps, I only wrote the first book of this trilogy. Dave Mack, Dayton Ward & Kevin Dilmore wrote the next two volumes, respectively.

Yep! She’s back.

Dare I mention that there’s also a 50th Anniversary book trilogy coming up?
