@daemonios: It's the beam reflecting off dust particles or whatever else is in the air. Keep in mind, it's a long exposure, so that adds to it too. Normally, I would expect a visible laser capable of making a beam like that would have too bright for the long exposure, so I'm wondering if maybe there's a little HDR…
