I've got an SX110 and love it to death. The quality is great, the video is great, and everyone is amazed at how far I can zoom on pics. Curious to hear how bad the resolution is on the 240fps mode though.

Too bad most of those 'meteors' are actually planes.

@bigPixel: I'm wondering how they get away with most game ads then, since not too many are using direct-captured footage anyway.

@BeerManMike: And if you listen to it period, you are already in hell. So it's like a means of escape if you play it backwards then.

@Canon7D-Fanboy: Not for video. If you're shooting news, anything remotely white will work. We don't have time to be picky.

@Channan: I would promote that, but I'm not worthy.

Skyrats!

OK, the red slide you see at 1:30.... now I've seen the 'uphill' slides before, but this doesn't look to have the extra stuff needed for 'uphill'. Is that thing for real?

FINALLY. Let the exwife keep the DVDs, figuring this had to happen sooner or later. Will still wait a few months until the price goes down a bit.

@kagekiri: Keep in mind, though, that part of swearing is the emphasis put on and emotion behind the term. And seeing as how Firefly was set well in the future, I think the liberties taken are justified.

Gee, it's almost September, what did you expect?

I'll keep my Slacker, thanks.

This article misses the biggest problem with Hulu Plus: all its programming is from over-the-air networks. It does NOTHING to replace cable. Looking through the list of shows on the site, it's all stuff I get for free already over the air.

@GreenN_Gold: Some poor woman showed a knuckle and never made it back to her car. Now it's used for viral marketing.

@Hello Mister Walrus: Once again blurring the line between art and a pile of crap that doesn't work right.

@elementary: Yeah, but it makes it less attractive to offer that when every Blockbuster in your city went out of business. There's only one rental place here (Hastings, which does incredible business) and a crapload of Redboxes (as many as 6 on one corner) that in the evenings normally have lines 2-3 deep at each.

@tande04: It just makes a little 'ledge' for your mouse to catch on if you're closing something in the right window, just like you may be used to just overshooting into the corner if you use a single monitor.
