That's also when the internet started getting more mainstream, which meant there would be a bigger demand for new pics on a daily basis
My parent were too cheap to pay for push button phone service so even after we got them we would still the pips as we dialed each number. Anyone else's parents cheap like that?
The problem is this 30% produce expansion amounts to $2 per month per child.
Way late to this post. There was a very brief Food Network program dealing with this. They had famous chefs cooking with food that would otherwise have been composted or discarded. The chefs visited a few farms where there were PILES of fruit not good enough to sell - it had minor bruises or a bug hole or something. …
But it does have the best line of all time:"Melrose Place is a really good show." Saw it when it came out with a college friend and we both looked at each other and were like OMG this is SO true. (This was the original Melrose Place FYI where everyone wanted to get with Billy for unknown reasons.)
But my mishmash of random/homemade ornaments have been passed down through the years and each one means something special or carries a memory. And part of the joy of my Christmas tree comes from carefully choosing which colored light makes an ornament show best.
I will never understand why filmmakers do this. The book was so beautiful, but so obviously not adaptable to a visual format.

I get rooting for someone with addiction/mental health issues, but the amount of…
Seriously. Katherine Heigl makes me cringe, but pretty much every actor should be considered for work before Charlie Sheen. I mean, I get that he has issues (so, so many issues) but I feel like all the women who have gone off the deep end never are allowed back. Jeez, Winona Ryder shoplifted and lost all credibility…
I feel like these people may be taking Downton Abbey a little too seriously!
Here is my rage inducing Craigslist post of the moment: http://newyork.craigslist.org/wch/ofc/405002…
I loved this book too, and am fortunate to still have a copy of it. I still read it every now and then, and it makes me resolve to be a better person every time.
