Jeep also added giant Brembo brakes with 15.75-inch rotors that are supposed to be able to stop the thing from 60 mph in just 114 feet.
People look at you differently in the Rolls...
Shit, Porsche usually charges you hundreds of dollars to get rid of things.
See my other reply — in some competition classes, your only choice of transmission is a G-Force or Liberty clutchless manual. They don’t allow torque-converter automatics to emphasize driver skill & reaction times.
Except if you’re very experienced and competing at a pro level (such as Pro Stock), your sanctioning body doesn’t give you a choice about whether or not you want to use the Liberty or G-Force clutchless manual transmissions.
Actually... it still is what most people want. Most non-enthusiast people.
Not surprised. For people who would be new to drag racing or still inexperienced, an automatic is going to always allow for better consistency. The skill cap required to consistently get faster times out a manual in a car like this is very, very high.
Quad exhausts are cool, mostly as a visual sign that cool noises and a lot of power might be coming from whatever the four pipes are connected to. That’s not really the case on the 2018 Ford Explorer, but it still looks cool.
But then it’ll be ready for Moab!
Probably because they wanted to win.
Bidders are likely dismantlers. There are several very experienced ones in California that have been in the business for a looooong time. It’s in all likelihood being bought to be stripped and sold part by part.
First deliveries I think were June 2016. So this means it was owned for likely at most 9 1/2 months, with an average of around 750 miles a month.
Unsurprising. The 370Z is long in the tooth. People who really wanted them bought them years ago. 370Zs have been on sale for over 8 years now.
My guess on the likely charges OPP will try to push:
That I agree with... however, it’ll be interesting to see how it plays out, and what they are actually charged with. That will be key.
Agree.
