Tesla seems pretty charged up about this.

Now playing

Meanwhile I’m unhappy that current semi-autonomous cars rely so heavily on road lines painted by humans for humans.

As this shows what might have happened in the crash:

I think this is what goes on for any car though. The price doesn’t change anything, and any classifieds sale/purchase I’ve made ends up like this.

Now you know what it’s like to sell cars for a living.

And it’s not just a six-speed recycled from the Subaru BRZ or the Toyota GT86.

“Even at near $100k, it’s still like selling a motorcycle.”

Lmao, truer words were never spoken. Not looking forward to selling my Z1000 for this reason, but there’s too many bikes out there on CL to keep the same one forever.

>That was a private sale, and dealing with an enthusiast was great. Especially since he wasn’t one of the “I KNOW WHAT I GOT!” types.

He recommends enjoying the buying experience; I cannot agree with that more. If it’s a toy, then why not have fun getting it?

But they only work in Oregon, Washington, Vermont, California, Montana, Colorado and Washington DC.

“Who holds back the electric car... We do, We do.”

I’ll always star an old school Simpsons reference. Pretty accurate description too

If you think Tesla owners are a cult, then Porsche owners are basically The Stonecutters from The Simpsons — in that they mostly keep it to themselves, and have been around for far longer than anyone realizes.

I think this is the sad reality. Everyone on here is all like “ehrmegahd we want a RWD manual brown wagon!” Half of them drive an automatic awd black crossover. People want manuals to exist. No one actually buys manuals. Ask Porsche and BMW. Manufacturers do lots and lots of research. They sell what sells.

Were they the ones that were developing these valves on a Saab motor or am I thinking of something else? I think there was a Jalopnik article on it even.

That’s absolutely false.

The brakes an overcome the engine by a factor of at least 4x.

You’re probably not sitting in the car correctly. Having a 90 degree bend at the knee while sitting upright so that you can grab the wheel with a 90 degree bend at the elbow will do wonders for back seat room.

I’m sure someone else can provide a better explanation, but ‘normal’ paint is pigment based, where a pigment is added that selectively absorbs light - so if you shine white light onto the pigment, is might absorb green and red light leaving predominantly blue light to reflect off. Hence it appears to be blue.

oh good... it was just one of the new ones...
