Finally, a 996 with decent headlights.

One of the engines kept running after impact. They had to wait for the damn thing to run out of fuel before approaching the aircraft.
1987 944S. Not a car from 2014. Or 2004. Or 1994. Safety in newer cars is on a different PLANET nowadays. Again, if I had a passenger, I would’ve wore him. The passenger seat ended up being deflected behind mine. I’m very fortunate I didn’t get a seat hitting me in the head.
Many years ago I bought a Porsche 944S for $6700. Rough around the edges, but put work into it and it was running great and starting to turn into quite a nice car.
IIHS sets priorities based on what’s causing the largest (or a large percentage) of serious injuries and deaths.
I look at this no differently than people who steal glassware from bars, or anything else that they seem to want as “a memento” or whatever their stupid justification is.
Fun fact: I passed on two GT4 allocations. There are actually 2 GT4s for every Spyder produced. With far less aero grip, and 30mm narrower rear section width on normal tires, the Spyder is more exciting to drive.
I have disagree with the V8 being “OK”. Everyone who says this hasn’t heard it, or doesn’t remember what it sounds like. The V8 is the engine you hear when an XCAR/Carfection video starts.
I don’t think anyone in their right mind would take the 6.3L V12 out of the FF for a blown 6.2L V8 Hemi.
Easy. Lets hats, and more prancing horse plush slippers which make generic engine revving sounds when you smush your heels together.
I’ve had a PDK (a Cayman GTS), and a 6MT (in a 981 Boxster Spyder).
Nope. Bentley Continentals (and apparently, Maseratis) are about as pop-culture as it gets nowadays. People know that a Conti is a Bentley.
These are so cheap (lots for around $55-60K) that near me, used car lot owners tend to own them in my area. The “buy here pay here” places that can sell the same Infiniti G35 or ten-year old Mercedes S-Class six times in three years because they end up repo’ing it 3 months after it drives off the lot.
Yeah, hit Google Maps and connected it myself. Your describe exactly what I figured was what it was used for. I’ve walked by those tracks a million times and always look down them before I cross, but never anything.
Disagree. For example, Waltham has them right in the city center.
