It's all good...I know what you meant...I go up to Travis a lot so I'm always on the look out for those brown cars.

You should see how it is in Houston...HPD, Harris County Sheriff's Dept, Harris County Constables, Metro Police, and HISD Police can all arrest me no matter where I stand in the city. They all drive various different cars/trucks of various different colors too

Travis County is usually that distinctive brown color though

We also have Camaro's in the Houston area. As well as some pickup trucks.

That's not what I read in all the newspapers and magazines

Hell yeah!

I think the city references are to the NFL. At least the American ones are.

Eh it's only bad when it's extremely hot and humid outside...lol

I ride Metro from the Eastex Park and Ride to 59 and Bissonnet everyday for work. 2 1/2 hours each way by way of 2 different buses and the light rail. It sucks and the only reason it didn't get recognized in this list is because not enough people ride it to complain about how shitty it really is.

You're right. Who am I kidding?

It's goofy but nonetheless if Bloomie was doing it and people mocked him, there'd be an array of defenders.

All of which I am, other than the paranoid part. Open minded people should be open to rebuttals and counterpoints. Our liberal, secular, humanist, urbanite mayor makes a pitch to Dwight to come play here and a liberal sports blog mocks her for it mainly because of the geographical location of the city of which she

Getting mocked constantly by a bunch of hypocrites will do that to you.

It is funny and entertaining, that's why I drifted towards Gawker after starting off reading Deadspin solely. But they mock us for being ignorant while demonstrating just how ignorant they can be. To them, we're uneducated, uninsured, parochial human beings who ride horses and drive gas-guzzlers all day. We're also

It wouldn't be a Gawker Media article about Texas without some sort of cheap shot/put down in it.

I grew up watching Homer pitch in high school and he was amazing. His mother was my grandparent's mail lady. He's come a long way from that chicken farm outside La Grange, TX. Way to go (again), Homer.

There ain't no fucking wrestlers in this story!
