New York Times has the most misspellings and typos in the entire universe!
I didn't used to know you could spell judgement without the first "e" until I just could not find a book in the library using the Commonwealth spelling, but somehow found it on the shelf anyways. It took me the longest time to figure out. Never even occurred to me to look at the spelling of judgement/judgment.
Both spellings are acceptable, but the extra "e" form seems more accepted in UK/Commonwealth English.
