Lets add to that the sudden decision to unregister kei cars and mini trucks that were legally imported in the Northeast. That shit makes my blood boil and I don’t even own one.

Just mandate automatic headlights/taillights. Most cars have them anyway and all is needed is light sensor, the same kind that comes on 10$ Christmas lights timer.
I would argue that the crossover did more to kill hatchbacks and wagons than anything else. For some reason, the people buying vehicles are shouting back and forth that either Trucks or Crossovers are LIFE! and completely forgot about how awesome hatchbacks and wagons can be, and how much better they look than their…
the fact that red turn signals are still allowed and the stupid US standards designed to be different, not better. And of course, the male-ass 25-year rule, but that would be moot if we signed on to the UNECE standards
It’s absolutely crazy to me that this car was ever ugly, because it’s possibly the perfect expression of 80s rad car design. Throw some neon lights around it and you’ve got your throwback poster child.
We still own the house, we’ve rented it out to a friend (and occasional Jalopnik contributor). My cars are mostly still there, we drove across the country in the ambulance and the TourX, so three Porsches, an Audi, two motorcycles, and a Leaf are still in Reno. They’re sitting on the back lot of our house at the…
Looks fine to me...
Social media was a mistake.
As an owner of a Mach E AWD premium extended range, I’m disappointed the GT is seeing such a power drop off. My wife absolutely loves the Mach E and it is our daily driver and her daily commuter so it serves its purpose nicely and I can keep my thirsty heavy truck for truck duty or very long haul trips.
I just recently got on facebook to check out the groups since it seems like that’s were the traffic has gone. That was an extremely short lived experiment. The facebook group format is basically unusable. With out tons of scrolling you can’t see all the posts. It’s hard to narrow in specific topics since it’s a…
I mean, it’s cool. Sure. But dude had a garage. It’s not like he built it on the street or in a parking garage.
Fun side note....just north of where the incident occurred there was a house with a flagpole in the back yard that always flew various white supremacist flags. So yeah, fun part of Tulsa.....
Unbelievable... People are using forums and instead of Facebook groups.
NRA=non reasonable assholes. fuck them.
Jesus Cluny Frog, Andy. Maybe do a little research before sounding like a 20-something that just discovered this “car hobby thing” didn’t just spring into existence with the Fast & Furious movies and GridLife.
I’m a gun owner, and I use it for target shooting and I sometimes take it into the mountains for large animal protection if I’m alone (I also carry bear spray as a first line of defense). I’m also a very even keeled person, not prone to emotional outbursts. But even I know that carrying a weapon daily only makes this…
Yet another “Well Regulated Militia” protecting the amber waves of grain from tyranny. Thanks, NRA.
I like how it is easier to get a gun in this country than it is to vote.
Because it’s not a hatchback. It’s a liftback. The two are used interchangeably, but really:
I don’t like it when manufactures design hatchbacks to just be sedans with a hatch. The sloping back defeats a lot of the utility of owning a hatchback. I’ve bought hatches for my last 3 cars and you want that fat-assed height that the sloping sedan backend is removing when you're actually hauling stuff around. Pass…
