We wanted green, blue, or red when we went to buy an Outback recently. There was one available locally in one of those colors that was the trim/package we wanted, otherwise they were 50 shades of grey.

Be careful with flare nut wrenches - if they’re cheap (cheap, flexible steel; poor tolerance), you can really do some damage on rusty fittings. It looks like your nuts were well-lubricated (giggle) but you can get yourself into a pickle if working with old rusty brake lines.
