First question when I saw the note about the rails... “hm, wonder if these will fit our normal ‘21?” I don’t know why they use those stupid integrated things.  I’m wondering if I want to move our J-racks over to the factory cross bars, or ditch everything, go for Yakimas that’ll bolt into the factory cross bar mounts,

C Max.

Why “roll eyes?” We don’t.

Leather.  Can’t stand it.

Sure, there’s no harm in any of that. If you can afford it, fine.

BRING IT, BITCH

Not even polished.  Mottled, dimpled, and crusty.

If I found a very clean turd from 1792, it’s still just an old turd.

I have.  Each one is on my list of Worst Cars I’ve Driven.  Neither was particularly old or abused.

Oh, hell no. The 3.Slow was bad enough in the SWB version. I thought the extended ones received the 4.0, but apparently it was optional...I wonder if anyone test drove one before deciding NOT to check that box.

I had a ‘79 Pinto with the same 88hp (but from the 2.3L Pinto engine), unfortunately saddled with a 3-spd automatic. It was horrendously slow. Highway speeds? Screw that, it was so incredibly loud between the required open windows and engine apparently turning 7000 rpm that it wasn’t worth it.  I did it once, never

I thought about it as well, but about the time I was ready to pull the trigger, cases were flaring again so I said screw it.  Oh well.

Or, “guess you should have bought a new one last year, dummy.”

What is “a bit?”  2023?

OMG LESS THAN A WEEK IT’S SO LONG AGO.

My ‘85 Caprice did this.  Made it a PITA to change blades, though!

I paid an extra $1k for the ABS & side airbag option on my car.  It was an unpopular option, and the closest available was 350 miles away.

Plus, the threads in the car will be garbage.

What difference does rabies make? That thing was better off dead regardless. Unless you’re fine with it nomming on the next toddler it happened to find.

No, it’s a thing.  I’m an ‘82 vintage like your wife.
