We’ve been watching The Crown, Endeavour, and the new All Creatures Great and Small...tons of old interesting ones to see.

I hated that scene, used to freak me out...and I always wondered wtf it was she was driving through, it didn’t look like snow!

I meant Speedtail, not Longtail. Even their stupid names are confusing.

Goddammit, meant Speedtail. This thing.

Longtail’s the other exception.  Otherwise, I agree completely.

Holy shit, I hadn’t noticed the holes. That’s very bad.

Good point about the Cutlass...I’d bet not. Based on the buyer’s previous purchases, it seems he/she has an affinity for like-new examples of old cars from the ‘70s and ‘80s.  But I’m thinking some of those other bids are from rich dudes who want to fulfill some manly man fantasy.

Favorite Atlanta driving story - I was stuck in stop and go traffic on one of the interstates (big surprise), sitting in the left lane. Some guy in a square body Chevy merged on from a ramp on the far right. I think it was basically a rebodied NASCAR racer, lumpy ass idle with wide steel ‘trailer’ wheels.

Ha - I just remember song was called “Feta Cheese.”

1st: Like making some sort of peace with North Korea, this was one of the things the Orange Fuckwit said he’d do that I could stomach.

I’m truly sorry...unfortunately, the hate still exists.  Sigh.

Quitcher bitchin’, you live close to Tahoe.  I don’t even want to hear it.

I would suggest organizing your bolts...grab an Akro-Mils cabinet, fill it up and label.

Hear, hear!  Love Mercedes and this series.

I’ve never been a fan; the earlier and later ones are much better IMO. The flat front ‘87-’91 are ok but my favorite is the ‘92-’96.

Your last sentence - that’s the worst.  I don’t get it either.

I’d take this over that stupid $100,000 F150.  Plus you have $50k left over to buy a usable truck.

Same here...probably doesn’t help that they’re just a bunch of alphanumeric, unmemorable models and they all look exactly the same.

1) Buy this.

Oh trust me, they’re out there. They’re nicely maintained and restored drivers. I work with a guy who has several ‘70s Ford trucks and he hasn’t paid shit for any of them.
